Dr Grabau received her BA in
Religion and Psychology from
the University of Vermont in
1988.  She received her MA in
Psychology from Duquesne
University in July of 1989 and
completed her Ph.D. in 1998. 
 She did her pre-doctoral internship
in 1994-95 at the APA approved program at the University of Maine's Counseling Center in Orono, Maine. She received her California Psychology License in 2001and began private practice at that time.
Dr. Grabau has 17 years of experience in multiple settings.  She is comfortable with a variety of therapeutic modalities, including individual therapy, couples therapy and family therapy.  She is well versed in the issues facing individuals with depressive/bipolar disorders, eating disorders, anxiety disorders, including panic disorder, OCD, and generalized anxiety. She also has extensive experience treating addictions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.  Recently, Dr. Grabau received training in Collaborative Divorce and is familiar with aiding individuals facing the challenges of divorce, as well as with helping blended families navigate the common developmental stages of the integration process.
